On the streets of Barcelona and Berlin, you can see a lot of amazing art works by French artist Christian Guémy aka C215. C215 has been an active street artist for over 20 years, his first art works going up around 2006 and according to Street Art London.

Global Rainbow lights up the North-East England


Global Rainbow is a light installation by American artist Yvette Mattern, that was switched on at St Mary’s Headland in North Tyneside. The light installation celebrates the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad in the north-east of England. The seven beams of light represent the colours of the rainbow and are symbolise hope and stretch about 8 km.
The Global Rainbow has previously lit up the skies of Germany, France and the United States, it was created for celebrate Martin Luther King Day on 19 January 2009.  The display will light up the skies until 4 March.

The Beatles’ iconic (and widely imitated) album cover Abbey Road shows walking across London’s Abbey Road. At that time The Beatles were recording the majority of their songs and albums at Abbey Road Studios . On August 8, 1969, Scottish photographer Iain MacMillan captured them simply walking across the street for their album’s cover.
